SAFI, MALTA, January 16, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — Avinu Films is pleased to announce the release of the film “Pillars of Creation,” a short documentary about the beauty of the heavens as shown by the elephant trunks of interstellar gas and dust that can be found in the Eagle Nebula, specifically the Ananias constellation, that exists some 7000 light years away from Earth and has been captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. The film was written by the poet Christopher Villiers, directed and edited by Marcelle Abela, and narrated by the veteran braodcaster Timothy Capps. The 3D cinematography was carried out by the 12 members of the combined Hubble Heritage Team, the STScl, and the Viz3D Team of ESA/Hubble/NASA, including Martin Kornmesser and Lars Lindberg Christensen. The motion graphics were done by Antonia Harris, while the executive producer was Mariella Delia. “Pillars of Creation” can be viewed on its website, where further information and stills from the film are available, or at the Avinu Films Vimeo Channel. The documentary has been accepted by the European Space Agency to be part of their official archives.
